Humans often define life as the period between birth and death. We observe individuals experiencing diverse life situations, each described in unique ways. Some find life exhilarating and joyful, while others perceive it as challenging or difficult. There are also those who view life as monotonous, neither particularly happy nor sad.
To add, when we are living this life, circumstances change from moment to moment: poor are becoming rich, the sad are becoming happy, the sick are becoming healthy, and visa versa. Can we call then change is life ? as since we are born, change is imminent, we change from being kid to adosolent to adult and then adult to old aged. Also, during each phase, due to circumstances, we go through the emotions of happiness and sadness or boredom through all phases of life.
Though each phase of life also gives us teaching/lessons in life. Is life a lesson then? We often refer to these experiences as positive or negative. Is life an experience ? If life is an experience, then why are we counting bad, good, happiness, sadness, pain, and suffering since this is all an experience?
Yogi views life as a conduit to the Divine. For him, God is the essence of existence. You’ll find a yogi constantly seeking a spiritual connection. Whether alone or in a company, their thoughts are drawn to the Divine. Even as sleep envelops them, their mind remains attuned to the transcendent. Yogi’s perception of life is inextricably intertwined with the divine.
One way to connect with God is through meditation.
